The new Green Line begins at Mockingbird Station and proceeds to Fair Park.

 This year Kroger Food Stores are offering a $16 Combo ticket which includes Fair admission and round trip DART transportation.

The 2009 State Fair of Texas opens it's doors one week from today, September 18.

How great is this weekend?!?!  Football season is starting up with high school games in full swing which fantastically builds a great sense of community in our area with not only the games but also the pep-rallies, bonfires, home coming parades and community activities, etc... College football, which in my opinion is unmatched in spirit with the colors, bands, tailgating, etc... And Thank goodness we have reached the end of the good-for-nothing NFL preseason and can now look forward to real football on Sundays!

In addition we have a fantastic holiday, Labor Day weekend, and then you can top it all off with a FREE Chick-Fil-A sandwich...WOW!!!

Chick-Fil-A not only makes some great tasting food, you've also got to truly admire their long-term business principles based on very high moral standards.  Chick-Fil-A is one of the last big food chains to remain closed EVERY Sunday, ALL DAY on Sundays so their employees can not only attend church, but also spend the remainder of their day with their families.

In addition, Chick-Fil-A helps to fund numerous family and Faith focused summer camps for kids, and are great about offering fantastic college scholarships to their employees (who always seem to be very clean cut and extremely polite)!
